The Baldwin County Sheriff's Boys Ranch is gearing up for their 13th annual Pig Roast and Live Auction to be held on March 2nd. The Boys Ranch is a residential home for boys ages six to 18. The boys at the boys Ranch are there by no fault of their own. The boys attend public school and are very involved and help in the community. If you or your business would be interested in contributing to their Live Auction or would like more information about the event please contact 251-989-6392. All donations are tax deductible and proceeds are used to provide for the needs of the Ranch and the children.

The Baldwin County Bicentennial Park is offering 2 Memorial Programs.
Program 1 - Military Veterans Program
To honor a U.S. Military Veteran (past or present), purchase an enduring Memorial Brick for the Veterans Memorial Pathway. It may be a memorial to a loved one, parent, ancestor, remembrance of a friend or an honor to a unit, ship or group. Your brick will be placed in the Veterans Memorial Pathway section of the Baldwin County Veterans War Memorial, located within the Baldwin County Bicentennial Park.
Program 2 - Honor & Remembrance Program
You can also order a remembrance or honor brick to be placed on the Baldwin County Plaza at the main Picnic Pavilion. These bricks may be a remembrance of a family member, friend, you as a donor, your company or organization or other such information as may be deemed acceptable by the Baldwin County Department of Archives and History.
Bricks are $40 each and forms are available at the Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce. Please call 251-947-2626 to have a form emailed or faxed to you.

American Red Cross 4th Annual Gumbo Cook-Off

Judges will be on hand to select the best tasting gumbo in two categories: Seafood and Chicken/Sausage. Amateur and Professional teams are welcome. The team registration fee is $300.
