Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge

Bon Secour is indeed a natural oasis of wildland, in a sea of condominiums where wildlife can exist without harm. The Refuge consists of over 6500 acres of coastal lands ranging from constantly changing beach duties to rolling pine-oak woodlands. There is fresh water fishing, salt water fishing, public beach access, a visitors’ center and hiking trails.

Garrett Park
Robertsdale, AL, 251-947-8900
Garrett Park is located on Pennsylvania and Palmer Street. It consists of 40 acres of land which was donated by Dr. Amos Garrett, a doctor of dentistry, who resided here in Robertsdale. The development of the park began back in 1968. It consists of three tennis Courts, four softball fields, and four baseball fields with a concession stand. There is a pavilion with picnic tables and playground perfect for birthday parties and family gatherings. In addition to this area we now have our Kids Park which was completed November 2002 built in Garrett Park, east of the pavilion. City workers and volunteers from Robertsdale and surrounding areas worked diligently to complete the structure, creating a great addition to the park.

Loxley Civic Center and Kids Park
Loxley, AL 251-964-5162
The Loxley Municipal Parks and Civic Center is one of the many ways the Town of Loxley shows its support and consideration for its citizens and visitors. The park and civic center are collaborative efforts from many of Our past town councils. A large donation from one of our businessmen in town made the civic center possible.
