Robertsdale is called the Hub of Baldwin County. The citys central
location provides quick and easy access to the beautiful white sandy
beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama and the historic ports of Mobile, Alabama
and Pensacola, Florida. Included within the city are numerous parks, churches,
shops and restaurants. The city provides its own utilities that include
electricity, natural gas, water and sewer services. The city also provides a
public library that offers several public computer terminals, children reading
programs and current best sellers. Robertsdale is home to Robertsdale
Elementary School, Central Baldwin Middle School and Robertsdale
High School.
Robertsdale is growing both with industry and residential dwellings. A good
hometown atmosphere is evident here and a growing number of people are calling
it home.
Strengths for Business
With an estimated population of nearly 5,000, Robertsdale has the largest
population in the surrounding area commonly referred to as Central Baldwin
County. U.S. Highway 59, which is a four lane highway running from Gulf Shores,
Alabama to Interstate 65, cuts through the heart of the Robertsdale business
district, and provides an extremely high traffic count for businesses on both
the North-bound and South-bound sides of the highway.
Robertsdale provides an established commercial base, which would only be
benefited by complimentary businesses and industries. With the high traffic
count on Highway 59, available industrial parks, and the local support of
hometown businesses, Robertsdale would be an ideal candidate for all sizes
of retail business, manufacturing, medical services, professional services,
entertainment and food businesses.
