The Business After Hours, hosted by The Town of Silverhill, is Tuesday,
August 10, 2010, from 5-6:30pm, at Little Hall, 21845 2nd St., Silverhill. Participating

The Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce is partnering with USA Baldwin County to present the
"3rd Biannual USABC Social Media Conference". The half day conference will be
held August 11th from 8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the USA Baldwin County Fairhope Campus Performance
Center, 111 St. James Ave., Fairhope (corner of St. James and Summit). This conference will
focus on creating and sustaining change and flexibility in your social media plan. It will
feature 4 lecturers who will speak on various aspects of the impact of social media on

The 3rd Quarter Business Seminar, "Business Owners Should Attend!,"
will be Wednesday, August 18, 2010, from Noon - 1p.m. at the Central Annex, 22251 Palmer St.,
Robertsdale. This seminar will focus on HR, Health Insurance, 401K Plans and Employee Training.
$10.00 for Chamber members and $15.00 for future members. Lunch is included in the price.

The Town of Silverhill is hosting a Public Community Awareness Program called
"Financing Your College Education 101: Scholarship Tips and Financial
Aid" on Thursday, August 5, 2010, 6:30 p.m., at Silverhill Town Hall.
The program will be presented by Ms. K. Sweeney of Robertsdale High School. For

The South Baldwin Numismatic Association will have its 2010 Gulf Coast
Coin and Currency Show on August 14th (9am to 5pm) & 15th (9am to 3pm)
at the Loxley Civic Center. Raffle for (1) Gold Coin - $1.00 a chance or 6 for $5.00.

Fort Mims Reenactment: Experience a part of Alabama History by attending
the 197th anniversary of the Battles of Burnt Corn and Fort Mims. The reenactment will be
August 28th and 29th, 60075 Hwy 59, Tensaw, AL. The Reenactment Weekend includes period
demonstrations, live music, food, vendors and other entertainment. Admission: Under 6

First Baptist Church of Robertsdale will host the 2nd annual Beth Moore Living
Proof live simulcast this fall. It will be held on Saturday, September 18th
from 9:00am-4:00pm in their sanctuary located at 18200 Highway 104 West in Robertsdale.
The ticket cost is $10 and a box lunch is available for $7 (preordered only). To purchase

School in Ecambia, Okaloosa and Santa Rosa counties in Florida and Baldwin and Escambia
counties in Alabama will soon be getting a much-needed financial boost from members of
Pen Air Federal Credit Union through the Share It program. New and current
members signing up for the Share It program will select which of the five participating county
school systems will receive a $.01 donation with every non-PIN purchase made with a Pen Air

RBC Bank would like to invite people of Baldwin County to join them in creating a
better community by donating school supplies for children of the Baldwin County area.
They will be collecting school supplies in all banking center within the Baldwin
County area from July 30th to August 13th.
