The Junior Executive Program provides juniors and seniors in the Central Baldwin area with opportunities to enhance their leadership skills through hands on work experience, leadership classes and community involvement. Students meet and interact with local business and community leaders as well as the Chamber Board of Directors and staff. Students participate in a wide range of Chamber events including: Business After Hours, Ribbon Cuttings, Annual Banquet, Prayer Breakfast and various other activities designed to promote the Central Baldwin Chamber and community.
An annual trip to the State Capitol for a tour and lunch with local elected officials and members of the Baldwin County delegation is also part of the program. Scholarships are awarded at the end of the program to students selected by the panel that meet the program criteria. The Junior Executives earn points for their involvement which are taken into consideration during scholarship selection. The Chamber funds the scholarship program and accepts contributions and sponsorships from businesses. Multiple scholarships may be given depending on the donations received. The Mack family also donates a scholarship annually to the Junior Executive Program in honor of Huey Mack, Sr. Thank You to our Junior Executive Program sponsors, Riviera Utilities and Pen Air Federal Credit Union.
