The Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce (CBCC) was founded in 1975 to promote the advancement of community development, economic growth and quality of life in our area through leadership and commitment as the vehicle representative of area business and community objectives.
This guide has been created so CBCC members can learn how to get the most out of their investment in the Chamber.
Networking – The Chamber offers various networking opportunities for members to cultivate new business relationships and exchange ideas and information. From our large events like the Annual Meeting, Flavors of the South and Prayer Breakfast to our monthly After Hours Chat and quarterly Coffee Chat there is a networking event for everyone.
Sponsorship – Through our sponsorship campaign you are given the opportunity to invest and connect with our members and community. Our sponsorship campaign provides many avenues to advertise your business and support our local community through events, programs and publications. Visit www.centralbaldwin.com to view sponsorship opportunities.
Insurance Discounts – Chamber members can receive discounts on their insurance through The Insurance Center. Discounts are available on general liability, auto, garage liability, workers Comp and umbrella policies. Restrictions apply. Give them a call at (251) 947-7301 for more information.
Member 2 Member Discount – Chamber members can offer a discount for a service or product available only to other Chamber members and their employees. Offering a discount is a benefit of your membership and helps drive traffic to your business. You can view a list of current member to member discounts at www.centralbaldwin.com.
Media Room – All Chamber members are encouraged to display any collateral material from their business in the media room. Displaying your material in the media room helps expose your business to the hundreds of people that visit the Chamber every year.
Member Referral Program – The Member Referral Program is a great opportunity to help grow your chamber and your business! Encourage people you know to become members of the Chamber and you can earn cash or credit towards your membership investment or other Chamber programs.
Membership Database – Looking to reach out to other Chamber Members? All Chamber members are able to receive via email a list of the Chamber membership to include mailing addresses and phone numbers. We do not provide email addresses.
Advertising – The Chamber works hard to advertise member business events and promotions. Social media posts and our weekly email newsletter Chamber Chat provide opportunities to publicize your business. As a Chamber member you also receive a complimentary listing in our Central Baldwin magazine which is widely distributed throughout the county to real estate companies, health care providers and financial institutions.
Ribbon Cuttings/Open Houses – The CBCC provides complimentary Ribbon Cuttings to members to showcase your new or relocating business. The photo is published in the local newspaper.
Chamber Building – As a Chamber member, you can use the Chamber building for conferences, meetings and appointments. The board room accommodates 16 people and an office is available for smaller meetings. The Chamber is equipped with Wifi and a kitchen. Complimentary coffee is available for your guests. This is a great option for members with offices out of the area!
Committees/Ambassadors – By participating in one of the CBCC committees you will have the opportunity to meet other business professionals, network with fellow Chamber members, develop leadership and project management skills and be involved in community events and issues that impact the our community. You can also become an ambassador. This group helps maintain contact with other Chamber members while promoting the CBCC and its purpose. Ambassadors attend Chamber functions and serve as greeters at Chamber events such as monthly After Hours Chat, Coffee Chat, ribbon cuttings and grand openings, and other Chamber events.
