Annual Banquet – The Chamber’s largest and most attended membership meeting of the year. During this event, accomplishments of the previous year are celebrated with awards. Held the 3rd Thursday in January, the Annual Banquet has an average attendance of 400 people which includes elected officials, members of the Chamber and Board of Directors.
Prayer Breakfast – This event is held on the 1st Thursday in May on the National Day of Prayer. Community churches and businesses come together to pray over the nation, schools, military, communities and churches. The Prayer Breakfast has an average attendance of 350 people including elected officials, members of the Chamber, Board of Directors, Church leaders and the community at large. By sponsoring this event, ticket prices will be reduced to allow for greater attendance.
Flavors of the South – This event is held in July showcasing food and wine from local restaurants and caterers. Attendees sample a variety of food and drink while listening to music and mingling. The Flavors of the South has an average attendance of 400 people including elected officials, members of the Chamber, Board of Directors and people within the community of all ages.
Honoring our Heroes Appreciation Day – The purpose of this event is to pay tribute to our local law enforcement, firefighters and EMT’s. This is a new event held in May. The Chamber will grill hamburgers and hotdogs, have live music, and allow our first responders to come by and have lunch at the Chamber.
Seminars/Workshops – Designed to cover topics of interest to small business owners. Expert speakers from throughout the area are tapped.
